As a window fitter, my role involves installing windows and doors in homes and businesses. I'll ensure that fittings are fit for purpose and weathertight. Here are some of the key duties that I m performing
Removing Old Windows, Doors, and
Conservatories: You'll use hand and power tools to carefully remove existing windows, doors, and conservatories.
Measuring Up for New Windows or Doors:
Accurate measurements are crucial. You'll assess the space to determine the dimensions needed for the new windows or doors.
Fixing Single or Double-Glazed Windows and Doors in Place: Once you have the measurements, you'll securely install the glass units, ensuring they fit snugly and are properly sealed.
Building Conservatories and Glasshouses: In addition to standard windows and doors, you may also work on constructing conservatories and glasshouses.
