Gass Plastering & Rendering is a small company established in 1993 specialising in all forms of plastering and render works. I have years of experience working in the local area.

I take pride in all jobs I undertake and personally complete all the work myself, I will treat your home as my own, neat and tidy at all times.

Once I start a job I stay on until completion and do not start any other projects, this way I can give my clients the attention they deserve from the tradesman they employ.

I also have a few experienced tradesmen who work with me on certain jobs that require other services such as decorating, tiling and general building works.

Some of the services we offer:

FLOATING AND SETTING

This is a bonding coat ruled out flat on new block work or old brick work to match existing, making it a hard finish just like the older houses were finished, once bonded it's finished off with two coats of plaster finish leaving it ready for painting.

SKIMMING

Plastering produces a high quality plaster finish on new or old walls. We produce this by sealing then applying a 3mm finishing coats of multi finish on to most surfaces and then troweling it until a flat and smooth surface is produced ready for painting.

RENDERING/PEBBLE DASHING

Houses can start to look a little dated or unsightly over time due to wear and tear and from harsh weather conditions. By applying render to the external walls it can really change the appearance of your property and modernise your house with little maintenance required over the years.

DRY LINING

Dry lining is an alternative to floated walls. It consists of sticking plasterboard to block or brick walls using a dry wall adhesive that leaves a flat surface to apply the finishing plaster or skimming coat

COVING

Coving really does finish a room off. It can also be a brilliant solution to hiding horrible cracks along a ceiling line rather than re skimming the walls. It’s easy to install and even easier to paint.
