The contractor contacted us and told us he has a job available for us, to plaster over the artex ceilings throughout the entire property.

The job was to take approximately 5 days to complete with a payment of £1500 between the two of us as well as £250 on top for materials. Not a terrible price!

We then came to understand the full price of the job was £2600, meaning the contractor pocketed a whopping £850 for simple quoting and handing the job over to us as subcontractors.

Baring in the mind the work was done for a small family with a toddler and a baby..
