A little bit about us:
My name is Joe Brooks and I have been in the building and ground working industry from 16 years old straight from leaving school. I always wanted to work for myself so I started Ace when I was 26 years old. It still feels like yesterday to me I still love my job as much now as I did then. It's been a long road with its ups and downs through recessions and covid epidemic and I’m still trading. This is due to our loyal customer's support and the good reputation we have built up. I believe this is due to having the same approach now as we did 27 years ago. Talk to the customer straight and honest in a language they understand instead of confusing them with jargon like some companies. Be on time when attending if we are held up by even 5 minutes call and update the customer, treat the customers as they treat you with respect and politeness at all times. Have pride in your work and carry out all works as if we were doing them at our own house. Document all works by taking digital photos before during and after works, only use high-quality materials that are from reputable supplies. Keep the customer informed of the progress of the works. Works should be carried out to the highest standard possible, always clean up as best as possible at the end of the day and do a full clean when the job is finished. I am proud to say my son Ben after finishing a college plumbing course in 2018 has joined Ace and now we are a father and son family business. I love working with my son he has learnt the business well and has become a real asset to the company and is loved by our regular and new customers.
